After MONTHS of waiting... finally my mum and I have got the Allotment!! As you can see it is very overgrown and the second picture shows how we are tackling it a little at a time, when the weather allows.
We are going to grow herbs, onions, potatoes, peas (my fav!!), swiss chard and pumpkin... I cant wait to tuck into some of the delectable goodies when they are grown!! :D
My Christmas was very fun packed and I was stuffed full of gorgeous Christmas food...
I hope you all have had a very happy Christmas and the new year brings good health and happiness.

How very exciting for you and your Mum! I'm so looking forward to spring and being able to start on our vegetable garden this year. We have big plans and I'm excited. Can't wait to watch your progress!
Happy New Year!
Looks rather like one we had many years ago - ours was covered all over with blackberry bushes about 6 feet tall!! We did get it celared and did manage to grow stuff in it too but it was hard work! Hope you will enjoy spending time on it especially in the better weather and will look forward to hearing how you get on.
Happy New Year to you and your Mum.

What a great christmas present from mother earth (or whoever sorts out the allotments!) It will add another adventure to the year ahead! So glad you had a great Christmas, best wishes for 2011!
Looks like you and your mum have a lot of work to do but I'm sure it'll all be worth it once you start getting fresh veggies.
I'm glad you had fun at Christmas.
Happy New Year to you and your mum!

All the best to you both in the New Year!
Hi Lucy!
Just realised I never thanked you for the card.
So thank you very much! It's very cute and it has found a place next to my laptop on the desk.
Take Care!
