Garden update!

We have had some rain today which has watered the garden nicely, as the newly planted flowers were beginning to look a little tired.
The front garden is slowly filling with plants, but it is sometimes difficult to keep the doggies off them!!
I have also started a few little projects in my small amounts of spare time. I hope they will be ready soon!! :D
Happy weekend

Beaded spring :D

I have been busy making some 'spring like' beading, before going back to school. I may not get chance to bead until the summer holidays in August and so I have made the most of the Easter break!!
I now just have to finish a different bracelet for a friends birthday.
Happy weekend!!

Lancaster, Alice in Wonderland and Flowers!!

For our first proper day out since the cold Winter, my Mum, my much older brother and I went on the train to Lancaster. Here are some photographs:
This is the Keighley train station (The Victorian side) .
Lancaster Castle. We could only go around part of the Castle as it is still in use as a Prison/Court House.

We also visited Lancaster Priory.
Just one of the gorgeous stained glass windows. This one is a modern replacement and the blue glass looks beautiful.

Last night I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D with a group of friends. It was GREAT !!!!

Here are a few flowers in the front garden, I am still waiting for the others to flower.
I just love the Lung wort and Cowslips.
My all time favourite at this time of year has to be Bleeding Heart (Lady in the Bath)
I can remember playing with the flowers when I was very little!!

I now feel like going to make a flower out of beads!!!!

Spring Gardening!

I have been busy doing Easter gardening. I have dug a trench, laid some edging, put down a few slabs, built a small stone wall, laid gravel and I did this to open up and neaten our small front garden. :D This is the result so far:
When I started this project I didn't think I would like hard landscaping but it was quite enjoyable.
I hope you have all had a super Easter!!
